Collaborative Summer Library Program (CSLP) is committed to the privacy of its online visitors and respects your choice about how your personal information is used.  This policy states the measures we take to provide a safe online environment.  Please contact us if you have any questions or concerns about our privacy policy or the use of personal information that you give us.

This Site contains information, data, photographs, videos, text, images, music and other material (Content) that is protected by U.S. and foreign copyright laws. This information is owned by CSLP or is used under license from the copyright owners.

We do not permit any copying, distribution, publishing, retransmission, or modification of the Content, in whole or in part, whether in electronic or hardcopy form without our express prior written permission, unless you are a Member using CSLP Proprietary Downloads in accord with the Rules of Use as described below.

Trademarks and Artwork Permission Required

CSLP’s trademarks, slogans, and logos and the look and feel of the Site are the property of CSLP, and may not be used without CSLP’s express prior written permission unless you are a Member using CSLP Proprietary Downloads in accordance with the Rules of Use as described below.   Vendors or non-CSLP members must obtain prior written permission to use CSLP’s trademarked slogans or its copyrighted artwork. Member Rights to CSLP Proprietary Downloads

If you are affiliated with or employed by a CSLP member, you do not need prior written permission to use the copyrighted or trademarked CSLP Proprietary Materials available at the section of the website entitled “Proprietary Downloads,” provided you use them in accordance with the Rules of Use, https://www.cslpreads.org/membership-sponsorship-2/rules-of-use/.

Privacy

Your use of this Site signifies your continuing consent to CSLP’s Privacy Policy, which you can review by clicking on the “Privacy Policy” link on the Site. Personal information you submit to CSLP and any information we obtain about your use of the Site will be subject to CSLP’s Privacy Policy.

Special Features

We offer you an opportunity to make submissions to the site by sending a message to contact@cslpreads.org.  Please be sure that you are comfortable with sharing this information.

By making a submission, you grant CSLP a non-exclusive, royalty free, perpetual and irrevocable right to use, reproduce, modify, publish, distribute, and display your submission on our Site. You also grant us the right to use your name and any photo you submit in connection with your submission.

Use of submitted material is at the sole discretion of CSLP.

By sending us a submission, you represent and warrant that:

  1. You own or otherwise control all of the right to the content of your submission,

  3. Use of this submission does not cause injury to any person or entity.

You agree to submit to the jurisdiction of, and agree that venue is proper in, these courts in any such legal action or proceeding.

Use of Your Personal Information

CSLP uses the personal information you submit to provide the services available on the Site, as well as to send announcements.  We do not use your personal information for any other reasons, including:

  • We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone.
  • We do not share your personal information with anyone outside of CSLP for promotional or marketing uses.

If you would like to know what personal information you have given us, please ask and we will promptly let you know.  If you would like to change this information or have it removed, please contact us and we will promptly oblige.
*When we make material changes to this Privacy Policy, we will inform you by updating the Effective Date of the Privacy Policy.

Anonymous Data

CSLP may collect IP addresses and site usage information that is not personally identifiable. This helps us evaluate how visitors use our site on an aggregate basis including the number and frequency of visitors to each web page, and the length of their visits.

This Site contains links to other websites. CSLP is not responsible for the privacy practices of external websites. CSLP encourages users to be aware when they leave the Site and to read the privacy statements of the external sites. CSLP’s Privacy Policy applies only to information collected on this Site.

The website does use “cookies” (small text files placed on your computer) for your ease.  The cookies keep track of your interactions with us. You can block these cookies by changing the setting or preferences in your web browser. Some features of our website may not function without cookies.

  • We do not use cookies to track your web-browsing habits across multiple sites that we do not own.

Protection of Minors

CSLP does not knowingly gather any information from children under the age of 13. If someone under the age of 13 provides us with personal information, we ask that the child’s parent or guardian contact us with a request to remove the information from our records.

We have put in place physical, electronic, and management procedures that use commercially reasonable standards to safeguard the personal information we collect on-line. Please note that we cannot guarantee that such personal information may not be accessed or disclosed through a security breach.
