This is another fun learning activity to give to the kiddos for use in a program – or to take home with them – without a great deal of staff time dedicated to preparing materials. These newspapers were a hit last year for just that reason! Our volunteer members came up with a great adventure issue for 2024 that features activities, word games, and more. It’s adorned with clipart versions of our artwork by Rob Donnelly and Juana Martinez-Neal to make it look even more fun. These come in a package of 25 and measure 11″ x 17″.

The images on this newspaper were printed with Shutterstock watermarks! We received them courtesy of our Texas State Library, but we may ask a volunteer to cut off the second page and just put out the first page. It’s a bummer because the activities are so cute!

Hi Alanna, we’re so sorry about this misprint! CSLP did pay for the Shutterstock files, so there was no copyright violation. We have an account with Shutterstock and the high resolution files were incorporated into a final file by our design house. However, that version without the watermarks was not what was ultimately printed by our printer. We are in the process of contacting all the libraries that purchased this product and offering them a refund or discount coupon. Again, our apologies for this error.
